LEGO® Building Contest

70 contestants participated in Turtle Bay's first ever LEGO building contest. Three local judges, James Theimer (Trilogy Architecture), Susan Schimke (Shasta College Art Instructor) and Dick Thompson (JF Shea Co., Inc.) awarded the grand prize, a 2 night stay at the Sheraton Carlsbad Resort & Spa (for 4) and 4, 2-Day park hopper tickets to LEGOLAND (a $1,000 retail value) to 9 year-old Charles Aguirre-Sobero of Redding!
Other Contest Winners included:
- 8 years and under - 1st place, Aaron Stanley of Shasta, CA.
- 9 to 12 years old - 1st place, Lars Norine of Redding, CA.
- 13 to 17 years old - 1st place, James Barber of Redding, CA.
- OPEN (18 years and up!) - 1st place, Brian Kittrick of Redding, CA.
