"I'm a member of Turtlebay because I feel it's really important to support the type of places that we want in our community, and Turtle Bay checks off a bunch of those boxes for me. It's got great trails, there are shady places to grab a picnic, and the botanical gardens are really beautiful." - Turtle Bay Member
"We are Members because we believe in Turtle Bay. We love coming here with the kids and we like bringing our relatives from out of town. Where else do you get to go where you can walk in and hold a nectar cup and have birds land on you?"
Aquatic Adventures is a series of several different programs featuring the animals of the Sacramento River, the journey of the Chinook Salmon and the water ecosystem as a whole. These interpretive programs occur daily and can easily be visited over and over to learn about the many topics.

This weekend at Turtle Bay Exploration Park, try your hand at moving water at our Stimpel Creek water feature in Paul Bunyan's Forest Camp! Experiment with the flow of a stream over a wooden flume; move water through channels; feel the force of water at the water wheel as you turn it - and have fun pumping water into the creek using the old-fashioned water pump, or simply enjoy the shade while watching others splash around in the cool water. Perfect for all ages!
