Animal Coverings: Fur, Feathers, and Scales
Friday October 27, 2:30pm - 3:00pm - We may wear jackets, hats and boots to stay warm, safe or even simply look nice, but for animals it is all built in. Whether it helps them to stay warm, or provides protection from predators, animal coverings all have a role to help them survive in the wild. Get an up close encounter with some of our furry, scaly, or feathery animal ambassadors as we learn what role coverings play in their own survival during this 20 minute presentation. Meet at the Museum, 844 Sundial Bridge Dr, Redding, CA 96003 (MAP).
