We are proud to open our Museum doors with lights dimmed, minimal sounds, and a relaxed atmosphere. Sensory Hour is an exclusive event for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders and their families to experience the Museum. Our goal is to make Sensory Hour a comfortable environment for children with a variety of sensory differences.
Our trained staff and volunteers will be on hand to answer any questions you have, and if necessary, direct you to a quiet space that provides a chance to cool down and take a break.
This program is free, however pre-registration is required and space is limited. For more information and to register, please call 530-242-3108.
Attendees are welcome to stay after we open to the public at 10:00am.
