Welcome to planet Earth – where rain falls from the sky, volcanoes erupt on land and sea, and life lives abundantly! Astronomers, or space scientists, not only look to the stars for discoveries, but also study the planet we call home. Join our educators and volunteers for scientific experiments and hands on demonstrations as we discover current earth science topics - activities designed by the National Informal STEM Education Network (NISENet).
Free for Members / Included with Park admission.
About Science Saturdays at Turtle Bay
Every 3rd Saturday of the month, join our educators and volunteers for an interactive learning experience; new topics are covered each month. Drop-in activities are available from 11am-3pm in the Museum. From exploring the miniscule miracles of nanoscience to the stars and wonders of space – we invite you to discover more every month at our Science Saturday. Science Saturday programs are designed to enrich the visitor’s museum experience as we explore the natural world around us through experiments, demonstrations, and other activities.
