April Theme: Bugs
What they lack in size they make up for in numbers! From butterflies to earthworms, bugs come in all shapes, colors, and sizes. This month, join our volunteers and educators as we discover what makes these creepy crawlies tick. Assemble your own butterfly wings, meet an entomologist (a bug scientist) and learn how to dance like a bee at Family 2nd Saturday. Free for Members / Included with Park admission.
About Family 2nd Saturdays at Turtle Bay
Every 2nd Saturday of the month, join our educators and volunteers for some family fun. Family 2nd Saturday programs enhance the visitor’s park experience by offering additional interactive opportunities. With hands-on activities and exciting demonstrations, everyone in the family has the chance to learn or try something new. With new themes each month, be sure to check the events calendar for more information! Drop-in activities are available from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. in the Museum.
