Science Saturday: The All-American Solor Explipse

August 21st will be the “All-American Solar Eclipse.” On this day, a total solar eclipse will cross the entire United States, from sea to shining sea. The last time this happened was  99 years ago in 1918! In preparation, join us Saturday the 19th to learn how to safely observe this rare phenomenon and explore how shadows and sunlight make it happen. From creating your own eclipse-watching tools to making your own shadows, this is an event for everyone! Don’t miss it…it might not be back for another hundred years!
Free with Park Admission.
