This month, join our volunteers and educators as we discover what makes these creepy crawlies tick. Assemble your own butterfly wings, meet an entomologist (a bug scientist) and learn how to dance like a bee.

Science Saturdays are monthly features at Turtle Bay’s museum, designed to inspire wonder, exploration, and appreciation of our world. This month, you’re the engineer! Build towering structures, play with Legos and Keva planks and more. If you’re up to the task, join us for the Mystery Material Challenge in the classroom at 2:00pm where you will compete against other teams and try to build the tallest structure out of the materials.

Family 2nd Saturday is a monthly program that enhances the visitor’s park experience by offering additional interactive opportunities. This month, celebrate the Chinese New Year by decorating a red envelope to gift. We will also be coloring on canvas bags to take home along with other art activities. Purchase a bag here or bring your own from home. Fabric markers and stencils will be provided. Canvas bags will be sold in the museum for $4.00 each while supplies last. Free for members, included in Park admission, only at Turtle Bay!
