Our ever-popular, heirloom vegetables are featured at the Spring plant sale and they sell out fast! Additionally, we also have an enormous stock of unusual, drought-tolerant, hard-to-find perennials, shrubs and trees, as well as California native plants and a wide variety of sought-after ornamental grasses, all grown here in our Nursery and acclimated to Redding’s vigorous climatic conditions. Sale includes a 25% discount for the public and a 35% discount for Turtle Bay members. New Memberships are available for purchase at the Nursery.

A healthy garden starts with healthy soil. Ken Waranius, owner of Redding Compost Tea, will teach us about the importance of nutrition-dense soil in organic gardening. Topics include soil biology, chemistry and physics as well as composting and soil testing. Meet in Turtle Bay’s Arboretum & Botanical Gardens Office - 1135 Arboretum Drive (Next to Greenhouse in Nursery).
