  • Turtle Bay Exploration Park is located at 844 Sundial Drive, Redding, California, along the Sacramento River.

  • Only service animals are allowed in the Turtle Bay Museum and Paul Bunyan’s Forest Camp. Leashed dogs are allowed in the McConnell Arboretum & Botanical Gardens.

  • Parking is available at the Sundial Bridge parking lot. The roundabout near the museum may be used for to drop-off guests.

  • Admission rates vary. Adult tickets are $20 Children ages 4-15 are $16; Seniors (65+) tickets are $16; Children ages 0 - 3 are free.

  • We offer accessible rates for our guests. Visit our Access Programs page here.

  • Signing up is easy! You can at our Guest Services desk at the museum, or purchase online here.

  • We ask school buses to park at the Overflow Parking lot near the Sundial Bridge parking lot.

  • Our playgrounds are available with park admission and are free for our members.

  • Our nursery is located at 1100 Arboretum Drive, Redding, CA 96003.

  • Branch House Riverfront Bistro, located next to the Museum, offers breakfast, coffee, lunch, and grab ‘n go items. Vending machines are located at the museum for drink purchase. We also encourage trying Mosaic, which offers takeout options and is located at the end of the Turtle Bay Museum boardwalk and is also attached to the Sheraton Redding Hotel at the Sundial Bridge.
