School Field Trips

More than 14,000 visitors a year experience our school tour programs, from northern California, western Nevada and southern Oregon, to learn about the Sacramento River region, science, art, history, forestry and horticulture.

Discovery Camps

Campers ages 7-12 are invited to join Turtle Bay educators and volunteers for another season of discovery camps!

Little Explorers

Little Explorers aims to provide an exemplary, developmentally appropriate early childhood program for children and families.

Lending Library 

Classroom kits rom GEMS (Great Explorations in Math & Science), Project learning Tree, Growing Up Wild, among others, that teachers and informal educators can check out. Each kit comes fully stocked with materials.

Professional Development

Turtle Bay Exploration Park offers professional development workshops for local teachers and informal educators to enrich their curriculum.

Famous Artist Portfolio 

This longstanding free program allows parents, teachers, and community members to present reproductions of significant artworks to students in the classroom.
