Mosaic Featured Artist: Zoey Farr

Zoey Farr is inspired by the beauty, strength, and interconnectedness of wildlife and the natural environments they depend on. Growing up in California, Farr was able to experience an incredible diversity of wildlife and landscapes, from forests and mountains to rivers, coastlines, and deserts. Those experiences gave her an early appreciation for the natural world and continue to influence the way she sees and creates art today.

Wildlife conservation is an important part of her artistic practice because she believes that creating an emotional connection with nature can inspire people to care more deeply about protecting it. Animals are not simply subjects in her work; they represent the larger ecosystems they belong to and the responsibility we have to preserve those places for future generations.

Through her art, Farr hopes to encourage viewers to pause, appreciate the wild places around them, and recognize that protecting wildlife also means protecting the habitats that allow them to thrive.
