Mosaic Featured Artist: Lyn Rosenthal
Lyn is a native of Northern California and has lived in the Redding area with her husband and family (3 kids) for 15 years. Lyn is a self-taught abstract artist who loves color, light, and contrast in her art. “Painting is like spending time in liquid joy!” Lyn has been creating professionally for over 10 years. Lyn’s work began with children’s murals in her then local community of Meadow Vista, California. After moving to Redding, her passion for abstract art has grown into influence in many businesses locally, as well as private collections throughout the US and internationally. One such collection is at the Saint Martin Hotel and Residential Towers in Hong Kong, as well as another large collection in Eugene, Oregon.
Lyn’s gallery experience includes work in the Puget Sound area of Washington, Seoul South Korea, Healdsburg, Sacramento, Laguna Beach, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Redding, California.
Lyn is a small business owner in Redding as a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist (LMFT), serving families, adults, and children at Little Oaks Counseling Center. Her love of art is administered with her clients, in the form of a play treatment area, full art and Sandplay therapy rooms. Lyn also teaches art and healing online through Theresa Dedmon Ministries.
Lyn loves the outdoors, including hiking, kayaking in the Sierras and Cascades, and riding horses. Lyn’s heart is for all people to experience creativity.
